The Football Association of Kosovo (FFK) has appointed Kentaro to handle its global media and sponsorship rights.
As part of the deal, Kentaro will also help the FFK implement a structure to advance the development of football in Kosovo.
The FFK expects to become a member of Fifa and Uefa in the near future which would allow Kosovo to participate in the qualifying rounds for the World Cup and European Championships.
FFK president Fadil Vokkri said: “It is particularly important for us to have a strong marketing partner at this stage who can help us with the organisation of friendly matches and with the creation of a professional marketing and association structure. When we finally get there, we want to be competitive.”
Kentaro Group chief executive Philipp Grothe added: “We are delighted to be able to accompany the FFK on its way into international football. There is such an enthusiasm for football in the whole of the Balkans.”
