Tom Hicks is considering selling his NHL ice hockey team the Dallas Stars.
The Hicks Sports Group confirmed that Galatioto Sports Partners has been retained to examine the possibility of securing new investors or selling a majority stake in the franchise.
Hicks, who also co-owns Liverpool Football Club, last month announced he had reached an agreement to sell his Major League Baseball side the Texas Rangers for about £360m.
Dallas Stars president Jeff Cogen said: "While a sale is not a certainty, it is a possibility and Mr Hicks has received numerous inquiries about the team."
