British Gymnastics is seeking to appoint a National Coach for Men’ Artistic Gymnastics to play a major part in the delivery of the Technical Committee plan for the development of the sport in Great Britain.
The role will be to implement the programme agreed with by the Men’s Technical Committee for the British National Men’s Programme. The primary responsibility will be for performance development through the Elite Grades and National Development Programmes. The appointed coach will be expected to work closely with the personal coaches through club and regional visits. The role will be to assist coaches and clubs to develop a performance programme to ensure a stable and continuous delivery system for the next generation of elite gymnasts.
In order to fulfil this role, the National Coach must have a thorough understanding of the developmental aspects of elite sport and a proven medal producing track record at national or international level.
The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills and have considerable experience of working in a high performance environment.
He/she will have good communication and administration skills and be fully committed to the agreed development programme.
The post holder will be responsible to the Director (Performance & Technical), however day-to-day line management will be by the Technical Director.
Remuneration package: £27,719 - £31,772 per annum
