• 1 year, renewable rolling contract (potential 3 year term)
• 24 hrs per week
• £10, 500 per annum
• Based at ST Joseph’s RCHS and Sports College (Bolton) & working in specific areas in Greater Manchester
Following the award of SIF Government funding from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and Volleyball England funding a Volleyball coach is sought to work in Greater Manchester
As a Community Volleyball Coach you will have experience of coaching young people in schools, clubs and / or other community settings. You will be qualified to a minimum of Volleyball England Level 1 coaching award or equivalent, with an inclination to develop your coaching skills and qualifications throughout your employment.
In addition to volleyball specific sessions you may be required to deliver multi-skill sessions to young people which are aimed at developing core generic skills such as balance, movement and co-ordination. Where necessary, training will be provided for this part of the role.
You will be an excellent communicator, have a passionate and dynamic approach to coaching and have sound personal organisation skills. You will be adaptable and open minded and have a real desire and commitment to your own personal professional development.
