The Bookings and Unilateral Services Manager is part of the Partners Servicing division and reports to the Head of Partners Servicing.
Partners Servicing is the division organising and account managing all the services produced by UEFA Media Technologies to UEFA stakeholders and, on behalf of UEFA, to UEFA partners. As the division is organised in terms of "clients targets" the Bookings and Unilateral Services Manager will deal principally with the broadcasters right holders.
The Bookings and Unilateral Services Manager planifies, administrates and account manages all unilateral services to be delivered to broadcasters by the TV Production unit of UEFA Media Technologies. In particular, he will be responsible of the planification, administration and follow up of all the unilateral services of UEFA Euro 2008 as well as other events produced for television by UEFA Media Technologies.
His mission includes the coordination with some key internal contacts : primarly the Television production unit of UEFA Media Technologies, in order to define the services and their delivery but also with the Broadcasters Services Coordination Manager.
He contributes with the bookings strategy to the global the broadcaster services strategy across all UMET deliveries.
His role also includes the implementation support : definition and establishment of the bookable services around UEFA productions, coordination of the rate card, process defintion and implementation, logistics organisation on site for client management, BLO management, liaison with the production department for the delivery.
As well as the account management support : such as the invoicing follow up, orders follow up.
The profile requires to have had already an experience in bookings on a similar sporting events, or international events of a major size. With a strong technical knowledge on television matters, he will have ideally a technical degree would could be compensated by a commercial degree with a strong on field experience on television events organised and structured, the candidate will have also a strong service mind orientation, as well as a good contact to be able to manage clients. Good stress resistant, he is also able to take decision in a crisis mode, and motive his teams to quality service delivery on the field. English is required, others languages good addons. He will have to be computer litterate to translate his organisation patterns "electronically", meaning that he is experienced in the practise of large systems, web based systems, databases etc.
