As one of the largest sports organizations in the world, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is the international umbrella organization of sport for athletes with a disability. Our key focus is on the organization, supervision and co-ordination of the Paralympic Summer and Winter Games.

Marketing & Communication Director (f/m)
If you are an energetic, open-minded individual for whom working with a young team in a global sports organization could be challenging, and you
Have a university degree or equivalent and at least 4 years of experience in Marketing and Communications
Have knowledge of the international sports business
Have knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities
Have proven and successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and interacting with media
Have strong oral and written communication skills
Have experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications
Have strong creative, strategic, analytical and organizational skills and experience in developing and managing budgets, training, supervising and appraising personnel
Are resourceful, detail-oriented and are able to work effectively as a team leader, team member and an individual player as required
Have the ability to manage multiple projects at a time and work flexible hours and travel internationally as needed
Have a fluent verbal and written command of the English language. Knowledge of other languages, especially German, is an advantage.
In a challenging role in our organization, assisted by three colleagues, you will take responsibility for the IPC Marketing & Communication Department.
You will be responsible for:
Creation and implementation of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that enhances the organizations image and the value of its brand
Supervision of the development and implementation of all marketing and communications activities and materials
Securing the articulation of the organization brand positioning, assuring consistent communication throughout the organization, and guaranteeing communication to all constituencies, both internal and external
Editorial direction and supervision of the design and production of all organization publications
Acting as the official spokesperson of the organization, including during the Paralympic Games and press conferences
Managing all media relations, including ensuring regular contact with targeted media
Co-ordinating the appearance of all organization print and electronic materials
Providing counsel and support to organization members on marketing and communications
Monitoring and supervising the marketing and communication plans and activities of the Organizing Committees for the Paralympic Games
Leading the implementation of public relations projects and events
Participating, as a member of the IPC Management Team, in corporate planning and decision making and cross departmental interactions.
You will report directly to the CEO.
