PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To translate UEFA texts into (British) English from French and German, and to revise texts written in English by non-native speakers.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Translates UEFA texts into (British) English from French and German
Revises texts written in English by non-native speakers
Proofreading
EDUCATION:
Language degree and/or MA in translation
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Some years experience as an in-house or freelance English translator working from French and German
Experience of revising texts written in English by non-native speakers
Experience of proofreading
BUSINESS KNOW-HOW & IT-SKILLS:
Good MS Office skills
Knowledge of computer-assisted translation tools
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
English must be native (British) English speaker
German - fluent
French - fluent
Others - an asset
