PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The TV Production Team at UEFA requires an experienced football graphics Producer who has extensive knowledge of live graphics and statistics and the use of these in TV Programming. Experience in live sports production at a producer level is key and candidates must show a very strong understanding and knowledge of live production of football with a particular focus on Graphics and Statistics. The main focus for the producer will be creating the catalogue of match graphics for EURO 2008 with a particular focus on new technologies such as tracking systems.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Working with the Head of TV Production and the graphics Partner Delta 3 to create and coordinate all live multilateral and unilateral graphics for EURO 2008
• Working with the TV Production Department and the ICT Department to develop relevant graphics and statistics to suit all platforms
• Working the Head of TV Production and the TV Programming Manager to assist with Live Productions such as the Final Draw for Euro 2008 and the Champions League Monaco Draw
EDUCATION:
• Degree level or similar
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Live TV Production experience on multicamera Outside Broadcasts
• Producer experience in sports programming
• Experience with Football graphics and statistics
BUSINESS KNOW-HOW & IT-SKILLS:
• Excellent knowledge of European football
• Technical and production understanding of live TV graphics
• Good computer knowledge – word, excel
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
English - fluent
French and german - good to have
