| Description |
British Gymnastics is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, team player to join their Media Department and play a key role in the development and implementation of the British Gymnastics TV web-casting service.
You will work within the media and promotions team and will be primarily concerned with the production, filming and editing of programming for broadcast on BGtv. The successful candidate will amongst their many roles take key responsibility for:
- The implementation of BGtv broadcast strategy
- The filming, editing and uploading of recorded materials.
- The monitoring and organisation of the BGtv interface and its programmes.
- The production of content at BG events, training sessions, press conferences and interviews amongst other environments.
- The technical support and liaison between parties involved with BGtv.
Applicants should ideally be of Graduate calibre with a formal qualification in Broadcast Media or a related field or have a minimum of 3 years experience in Broadcast Media or similar. A keen enthusiasm to progress the role and the ability to work within a close team environment are essential. Applicants will be required to attend BG events where necessary and this will include occasional weekend work and extensive travel. A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
