Volleyball England is the governing body for volleyball based in Loughborough and is responsible for the development of the sport from grass roots and recreational levels through regional to national representation. With the Olympic & Paralympic Games rapidly approaching, Volleyball England are looking to recruit a commercially astute Chief Executive to drive the organisation forward during this exciting time for English Sport.
The Chief Executive will be responsible for providing the leadership and management skills to develop a strategy to achieve the vision of Volleyball England in addition to increasing its profile, benefiting from commercial opportunities, and creating a sustainable legacy to London 2012 by delivering increased participation through the 'whole sport plan'.
The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate excellent commercial, partnership & negotiation skills in addition to a commitment to sport and participation in the UK. Candidates with business skills within the wider context of sport are also encouraged to apply and an understanding of a multi stakeholder environment are essential as well as being an excellent communicator at all levels.
