The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) is responsible for preparing and sending Australian Teams to the Olympic Games as well as staging the Australian Olympic Youth Festival (AYOF).
A full-time position is available to join our team in Sydney, Australia for an experienced and skilled Sporting Events and Logistics Specialist.
The role of Manager, Games Operations ensures that all Australian Olympic Team planning and logistical needs are met in preparation for and during the Olympic Games and Olympic Winter Games fostering an athlete centred focus at all times.
Additionally this position will be responsible for the organising and management of venue operations and logistics for the AYOF.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience and qualifications in Project/Event Management, specifically from a sporting background, with any Olympic Games operations experience a distinct advantage.
Proven and demonstrated organisation skills with a logistics focus coupled with excellent leadership qualities and the ability to work to tight deadlines under sometimes stressful situations are essential personal attributes to achieve all accountabilities of this role.
