Description
The Singapore Rugby Union, in conjunction with Standard Chartered Bank, wishes to appoint two interns to work as Rugby Development Officers within the Development Department of the Singapore Rugby Union.
There are currently 24 schools playing 15 a-side rugby with another 40 schools playing modified games and a number of clubs also running youth programmes.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Introducing the game in schools.
• Developing skills in schools where rugby is played.
• Coaching young players in youth programmes in clubs.
• Developing school and club links.
Applicants should be graduates with a coaching, sports science related degree. They should also possess an RFU Level 1 coaching award or equivalent and have experience of working with young people. Further qualifications in either strength and conditioning or refereeing would be an advantage.
Salary: S$ 1,500 per month plus free flights and accomoodation
