| Description |
Having had experience of working at at least two Olympic Games either with a sponsor, property and/or agency, a new position has arisen to work within IMG’s Global Olympic Consulting team.
The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the internal workings of the Olympic Movement, with demonstrable experience of crafting and implementing unique strategic marketing programmes for sponsors of the Olympic Games, the IOC and/or a National Olympic Committee.
You will bring this experience to IMG in order to help existing and new IMG Olympic Consulting clients understand and maximise the potential of their Olympic Games opportunity.
You will be expected to manage the associated marketing initiatives and solve business challenges presented through their Olympic contractual rights.
Working with fellow global team members, you will gain a greater understanding of the Movement and utilise this to efficiently and effectively aid prospective and current clients.
You will be expected to help with new business development efforts in key international markets and work with internal company divisions to develop and implement Olympic programmes particularly with regard to athlete usage, media channels and experiential/on-site marketing.
You will be an excellent experienced presenter and passionate about the Olympic Movement.
You will have extensive experience of agency or client-based sponsorship management, including working in areas such as marketing plan development, athletes, event/experiential/on-site, PR, operations, retail execution, B2B and internal communications.
You will also have handled extensive Olympic sponsorship/athlete contract negotiations and worked closely with marketing, media or advertising agencies.
Fluency in English and at least one other language is a must.
You will also be expected to travel at least 50% of the time. |
