PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To maximise the attendance at the matches of UEFA EURO 2012™, through a fair and transparent ticketing system. To be service oriented, but also pragmatic and efficient towards the National Associations, Commercial Partners and other target groups. To manage within the budget the sales, administration, logistics and allocation of tickets to the various client groups in an efficient, fair and transparent manner.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Liaise with the stadium ticketing responsible, internal units and responsible authorities during the completion of the stadia constructions in order to prepare detailed seating plans, including recommended price configurations and segregation areas;
• Liaise with the various target groups, in order to ensure that they receive up to date information concerning their ticket allocations and that they comply with the UEFA and EURO 2012 ticketing regulations. Responsible for the Quota Management system and correct report to Head of PTAS;
• In consultation with other EURO 2012 units, develop if necessary a promotional strategy in order to maximise ticket sales;
• Prepare the necessary Ticket Application Forms for the approval of the appropriate authorities;
• Draft any tender documents required for activities that need to be outsourced by EURO Division in order to implement the Ticketing Strategy;
• After thorough research, make recommendations regarding: Type of match ticket, i.e. paper ticket, smart card, etc., the system of despatch of tickets to recipients and the security elements to be incorporated in match ticket/smart card;
• Consult different target groups and assess the level of service that can be be provided by EURO 2012 Division whilst ensuring that the integrity of the system and operations are maintained;
• Liaison on ticketing matters with other units within EURO 2012 including Security, Accreditation, Signage, Hospitality operations, Protocol, Legal and Budgeting;
• Implements the approved ticketing strategy with the envisaged improvements and objectives;
• Strong collaboration and contribution to the efficiency & success of the Admission Services;
• Contributes to knowledge management and TIS in areas concerned.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure that appropriate ticketing system(s) are in place which will provide an efficient and reliable system for applications, allocations and distribution to the various target groups;
• Responsible for a proper reconciliation between Ticketing, Hospitality programme - follow up collection of payments - and Financial Data;
• Responsible for developing a clear information, reporting system and project management.

EDUCATION:
• University degree
• Further education in Business management

WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Experience within international ticketing operations, preferably within a World Class Sport Event;
• Experience in a Client/Customer Service Role within a fast moving and pressurised environment;
• Experience in logistics, namely barcode technology REID, printing & distribution and access control mechnanisms.

BUSINESS KNOW-HOW & IT-SKILLS:
• Computer-literate: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook;
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Strong Negotiation and Analytical Skills
• Project Management
• Ticketing System(s)

The position will be based in Nyon (Switzerland) until March 2010. Afterwards will be moved to Warsaw (Poland).
