The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is the global governing body of the Paralympic Movement.
The IPC organizes the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games, and serves as the International Federation for 12 sports, for which it supervises and co-ordinates the World Championships and other competitions.
The IPC is committed to enabling Paralympic athletes to achieve sporting excellence and to developing sport opportunities for all persons with a disability from the beginner to elite level. In addition, the IPC aims to promote the Paralympic values, which include courage, determination, inspiration and equality.

| Description |
If you are an energetic, open-minded individual for whom working in a dynamic team in a global sports organization could be challenging, and you
• Have a graduate degree or equivalent,
• Have proven knowledge and work experience (at least 5 years) in Sports management and experience in leading a small team,
• Have worked within the Olympic, Paralympic and/or other major international sport movements,
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Are able to work and lead projects independently and within a diverse environment
• Have excellent organizational skills and are computer literate in MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook),
• Have excellent verbal and written English skills (knowledge of other languages is an advantage),
then we would like you to join our team.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination of the IPC Sports Team with an additional focus on policy development and project management with Major Games and IPC Sport Championships organizers.
More specifically this includes
• Leading, co-ordinating and supervising the IPC Sports Team to manage all activities associated with the IPC Sports (Athletics, Alpine Skiing, Biathlon and Cross-Country Skiing, Powerlifting, Shooting, Swimming and Wheelchair Dance Sport) in the function of the IPC as International Federation for these Sports.
• Liaising with IPC Technical Committees to ensure strategies alignment and focus on efficient, effective and transparent management of the Sports.
• Overseeing the development and implementation process of the Business Plans and Budgets for these Sports to strengthen their capacities and to prepare the necessary steps for their independence.
• Overseeing the general approach to the IPC Sports Rules and Regulations development process.
• Liaising with the relevant IPC Departments and Committees to devise IPC Sport Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Co-ordinating the ongoing development of standards for promoting, awarding, planning and delivering IPC Sport Championships.
• Acting as the leading co-ordinator for Major Games recognized by the IPC.
This position will report directly to the IPC Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
