We need exceptional leaders to help us raise awareness and understanding of the needs of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities, to change attitudes and increase involvement in sport and physical activity. Description

You will manage and deliver the Age UK* Fit as a Fiddle, Community Programme which is funded through the Big Lottery Fund. The individual must have experience of volunteer management and training, be highly organised and also have the ability to work flexibly and creatively with BME communities and possess a good understanding of the sport and physical activity sector.

This is a national role which will involve travel so the candidate must have a flexible approach to work. This post is subject to a criminal records bureau check.

Closing Date: Wednesday 9th September 2009
Interview Date: Wednesday 7th October 2009
