PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Defines and implements timely, cost-effective technical solutions at the stadiums (including infrastructure in Poland, equipment and support services for power, water supply, audio systems, external rental of heavy machinery) to support tournament operations.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Liaison and technical advisor for internal divisions regarding technical requirements and support for their responsibilities;
• Sourcing and management of technical consultants and suppliers, including tendering procedures, budgets and applications for permits;
• Ensures a good overall standard of infrastructure/equipment and excellent service/support;
• Organises the circle ''plan/do/control/act'' in the most efficient and effective way;
• Splits tasks, delegates accordingly but keeps overview and ability to anticipate at any time;
• Establishes a lean information system to up-date superiors and subordinates;
• Liaise with other departments and suppliers to ensure consistency.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible to achieve the agreed business objectives;
• Responsible to spend money economically and respect the budgets;
• Lead his/her team and project members successfully.

EDUCATION:
• University degree (technical)
• Further - job related - education (e.g. degree in Project Management).

WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Around 5 years’ experience in the area concerned (around 2-3 years in a management function);
• Technical coordinator/supervisor in a large international event would be of advantage.

BUSINESS KNOW-HOW & IT-SKILLS:
• Ability to work with MS Office;
• Project-management skills (senior level);
• Familiar with leadership-instruments;
• Strong (technical) network within the country;
• Knowledge about permits, authorities, tax issues, etc.
• Able to develop information, reporting and control tools
MS-Project or equivalent.
