PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Establish and implement – together with the Polish and Ukrainian LOCs – a top quality event transport system for UEFA EURO 2012™ in a cost efficient way that covers the needs of UEFA’s target groups.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Establish the UEFA EURO 2012 event transport strategy and oversee all activities related to event transport;
• Establish – together with the Event Transport Managers of the Polish and Ukrainian LOC – the event transport concept, project plan and operation plans (including staffing und budget plans) by developing a flexible system that covers the needs of the serviced target groups;
• Define the level and quantity of services based on target group analysis with Target Group Management;
• Plan event transport operations within and between Host Cities and oversee implementation of entire project;
• Define and oversee the processes with regard to booking of transport services;
• Manage the bidding and contracting process with suppliers for equipment and services and manage the overall relationship with the car and bus suppliers;
• Oversee the development and implementation of training for drivers and volunteers including the development of training material;
• Oversee fleet operations: commissioning, maintenance, repair, decommissioning;
• Configuration and development of fleet dispatch software to ensure efficient job allocation and usage of fleet for all target groups;
• Oversee proper set-up and running of fleet distribution centres;
• Ensure development of parking concept for target groups (including stadiums, hotels, airports etc) in coordination with venue management and relevant service providers;
• Define bus requirements and manage bus operations together with supplier(s) and other projects;
• Manage and set-up FAME operations in regard to event transport;
• Develop training material and communication for Group Relations Coordinators regarding event transport;
• Ensure communication of event transport information to all concerned parties.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee the UEFA EURO 2012 Event Transport project and ensure high level delivery in a cost efficient way and within agreed budget;
• Lead, coach and support the Polish and Ukrainian LOC’s in all areas related to event transport.

EDUCATION:
• University Degree in Business Management

WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Extensive Transport experience in large scale (sport) events;
• Preferably experience in football environment;
• Experience in complex projects

• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project Office);
• Excellent project management skills;
