PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The UEFA Media Rights Unit is responsible for managing all of UEFA's media rights exploitation across all of its competitions. The Media Rights Coordinator will support the Media Rights Manager and the Head of Media Rights in the proper implementation of media rights strategies, ensuring revenue optimisation and a broad distribution platform for UEFA competitions.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Assists the Media Rights Manager in implementing the global media rights strategy:
- Support in market analysis, preparing tender documentation, evaluation of bids
- Support in creating/updating the relevant sections of UEFA documentation falling under the responsibility of the unit
• Manages the unit’s market intelligence and internal information database on a daily basis
• Supports the unit on external/internal presentations and specific mid- to long-term UEFA media rights projects
• Brings added value to the team through innovative ideas that could further enhance UEFA’s exploitation of media rights
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensures appropriate support during sales processes (via agencies or directly)
• Ensures efficient information flows and coordination with various parties

EDUCATION:
• University degree (preferably with master’s in business and/or marketing)
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• At least two years’ experience in the sports rights/media field
BUSINESS KNOW-HOW & IT-SKILLS:
• Understanding of the global broadcast market and related sports rights issues
• Computer and presentation skills
• IT literacy (MS Office)

• Flexibility - Ability to adapt to circumstances, contacts, new working methods and tools while remaining productive in different or ambiguous situations
• Initiative - Ability to do things on own initiative and to influence the course of events, rather than the other way round

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• English - fluent (oral and written)
• French and German - good knowledge is a strong advantage
