| Description |
Purpose of the job
To provide support in the implementation of the mapping system and creation of various plans and graphics for all stadiums, within the Maps & Plans Department and reporting to the Maps & Plans Manager; to produce maps and overviews using AutoCAD and other graphics software; to ensure a consistent stadium mapping system across all venues.
Main activities
Providing final maps and graphics in a format suitable for use in manuals and official documentation
Implementing a coding system for maps and plans, ensuring consistency across all venues
Allocating facilities to the different stadium locations, creating technical plans and overview maps
Creating interior design layout maps, zoning maps for all the venues and other detailed plans
Carrying out simulations, comparing and explaining requirements, space limitations and facility use
Producing presentations for internal divisions and external use
Main responsibilities
Ensuring plans, graphics and documentation are consistent, accurate and up to date
Education
Graphics and technical drawing training
University degree
Work Experience
Experience working with maps and plans in AutoCAD
Experience working with graphics software to produce maps, simulations and pictures
Experience working in a technical drawing company or an event-related environment
Business know-how and IT Skills
AutoCAD
Adobe CS 4 (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
