Purpose of the job
Providing the full cycle of the effective interpretation/translation services to LOC EURO 2012 UKRAINE.
Main activities
• simultaneous and consecutive translation during the official meetings and workshops;
• translation of all kinds of the official incoming and outgoing documents from English/French into Ukrainian and vice versa;
• translation of all the internal working documents (drafts of presentations, letters, etc.);
• proofreading of the original texts (Ukrainian/English/French) and editing translations.
Main responsibilities
• Timely and correct interpretation and translation.
Education
• Higher education (Linguistics).
Work Experience
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position;
• excellent negotiation and communication skills (oral and written);
• proven track record in interpreting/translation (references from customers);
• experience in international/multicultural environment is a strong plus.
Business know-how and IT Skills
• advanced PC user (MS Office);
• able to multi-task, flexible, hard-working;
• service-minded, efficient, discreet, proactive.
Language skills
• Ukrainian – native speaker;
• English – professional interpreting/translation;
• French – fluent (oral and written);
• Polish – a strong plus.
