Description

Purpose of the job

To provide scheduling support for the production of all video content across all platforms in UEFA, including TV, Web and mobile, (with the exception of TV video content relating to Euro 2012, to which there is a dedicated Production Manager allocated)To provide tracking reports on progress and cost of these projects across all platforms. The scheduling will include allocating the resources of FCP and Avid Suites and of camera kits, as well as allocating, under direction, production and graphics staff. The person will need an understanding of the costs of production resources, and an understanding of the use of camera kit and edit equipment , as well as an understanding of video content multi platform use.


Main activities

• Allocating and tracking resources of edit suites, and camera kit
• Allocating (under direction) and tracking schedules of production & graphics staff
• Booking any allocated necessary freelance staff
• Providing cost analysis of internal and external resource use
• Tracking projects on all platforms and providing reports
• Tracking progress with other UEFA divisions regarding their video project needs
• Analysing potential resource use and workflow in advance, and providing management with a forward understanding of areas which might need future additional support.

Main responsibilities

• To provide scheduling support to ensure the smooth running of video content multi platform projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget.


Education

• University degree or equivalent


Work Experience

• At least 3 years in a TV / Multi platform environment, in an area with proven synergies with this role (eg production manager/co-ordinator, facilities co-ordinator, broadcast scheduler etc)


Personal Qualities

• Calm under pressure
• Ability to multi skill
• Attention to detail
• Awareness of business etiquette in liaison with clients


Business know-how and IT Skills

• TV or Multi platform IT scheduling systems


Language skills

• English - Fluent oral and written
• French - Knowledge of
