Purpose of the job
This position should facililtate the tasks and processes around the budget. Ensure the right system is in place for the control and decision making process. Especially ensure that invoicing process runs smoothly, that the regular reconciliation takes place and that follow up on the payments is done in line with agreed company processes and procedures.
Main activities
• Assist in the development and implementation of the financial ticketing process of Euro 2012;
• Issue the sales invoices in line with the placed and approved orders (ticketing and hospitality);
• Reconcile the sales recorded to the cash received and any commissions paid on the regular basis; can be daily for the high volume sales during certain periods;
• Perform the ad hoc test of the accuracy and completeness of the accounting data;
• Facilitate local managerial reporting on the local and corporate level;
• Provide managers with the project cost reports on the regular basis, assist them with variance explanations and overall understanding of the reported numbers;
• Provide support to the Finance Department in the following areas: cost allocation, cash flow, legal entity forecast;
• Provide any ad hoc support and assistance as requested by the Budget Manager.
Profile
• University degree
• Further education in Finance
• Knowledge of Polish taxation and accounting
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years in the international organisation
• Knowledge of western style reporting requirement and procedures, especially credit and collection and invoicing
• Computer-literate: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
• Knowledge in the definition of Finance procedures and local and International Accounting Standards
• Strong organisational skills; knowledge of budget and project management related processes and procedures
• Polish: native
• English: fluent oral and written
• Russian: advanced
