Experience:
• 3+ years of relevant experience (project management, preferably in the sport events or event-type industry);
• 2+ years of relevant experience in complex working environment (multicultural teams);
• good knowledge of information, financial or purchasing systems;
• advanced PC user (with strong emphasis on MS Outlook, MS Access, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint);
• advanced knowledge and proven hands-on experience with MS Project;
• knowledge in setting up work processes, preferably in project environments.
Education: higher education (Economic/Business Management or related).
Languages:
• fluent Ukrainian/English/Polish;
• French/German is a strong plus.
Purpose of the job
• To assist the Program Managers and the Head of Planning in operating the Program Management Office (PMO) of UEFA EURO 2012™.
• To provide technical support to Project Leaders in the preparation and maintenance of their individual project plans, to follow-up the status of different projects and to perform analytical tasks with existing monitoring tools.
• To report to the PMO on project status and urgent issues.
• To support the risk analysis and management processes.
• To support Budget Manager and Project Leaders in Ukraine if/when needed.
Main activities
• assisting Program Managers/Leaders in all project management operations/activities;
• supporting Project Leaders in the development and maintenance of the individual project plans through technical support, training and advice on the use of MS Project;
• performing specific analysis on the Master Project Plan and producing relevant reports;
• collecting information from Project Leaders regarding status of their activities, following up on milestones and action lists and performing updates and maintenance of the tasks from the Master Project Plan;
• creating presentations and taking minutes of project meetings for the different target groups;
• collaborating on project debrief and supporting high quality knowledge management processes;
• assisting the Budget Manager in the implementation of the Euro manual policies/procedures.
