300 days for the 6th Winter Asian Games

The 300-day countdown to the Asian Winter Games officially began on April 2 at Wenbo Square with the unveiling of a counter that will kick off the number of days left before the Games fires off. This is a very important event in the course of the preparations for the Games, which means only some final touches are left ahead.
Zhu Yejing, administrative vice-chairman of the Organizing Committee and mayor of Changchun, and Wang Guocai, secretary-general of the Organizing Committee, attended the unveiling ceremony.
“The counter reminds us of the exciting moment when the Games fires off. What we should do now is just to work harder on the final preparation work with high standard and quality” An Li, secretary-general of the Organizing Committee, said at the ceremony “In a span of 300 days, Gymnasium constructions for ice sports should be completed by this June, with all facilities installed in August. In October, close attentions will be paid to the experimental operations for opening (closing) ceremony, reception, medical care and security services, etc. We should be ready for the OCA and IOC’s inspection at any given time.”
