Polsat tuned in for 2008 rights

Telewizja Polsat S.A. have been unveiled as the official broadcasters of UEFA EURO 2008? in Poland.
Exclusive rights
UEFA and Polsat today signed an agreement which gives the Polish television company exclusive rights to show all 31 games at the tournament held in Austria and Switzerland. All will be free to air, with additional coverage available on the broadcasters' pay television channels, Polsat Sport and Polsat Sport Extra.
'Viewing experience'
UEFA marketing and media rights director Philippe Le Floc'h said: "Polsat is the leading commercial broadcaster in Poland and has vast experience in broadcasting major sports events. We look forward to working with them in order to lift the UEFA EURO 2008? viewing experience in Poland up to a new level." The broadcast rights for the UEFA European Championship are being sold on a market-by-market basis for the first time in the tournament's 46-year history.
