Setanta is new to the Premiership and keen to secure some glamorous "big-four" ties early in the season to boost subscriptions, and Sky is equally keen to block them. Sky has the first picks on each weekend but with clubs only able to appear a maximum of four times in each time slot, Setanta will pick up attractive ties for their Saturday early evening and Monday night slots.
