Doha to host Rugby Challenge in December

In an inaugural meeting held in Tunisia, the executive Committee of Arab Rugby Federation (ARF) decided to organize Rugby Challenge Tournament for champion clubs in Doha in December 2007 and to organize two training courses for the new coach and referees in Morocco in November 2007 and April 2008.
During their meeting chaired by Mr. Fathi Hashisha, the committee members ensured the importance of activating the committee's role regarding enhancing resources and developing the internal and external communication.
Mr. Hashisha said that the first stage of work will be devoted for reorganizing of Rugby in the Arab Countries, hailing the cooperation of sport leaders and National Olympic Committees in the Arab Countries in this respect.
"The efforts of ARF resulted in founding National Committees supervise rugby in Lebanon, Jordan, UAE, Algeria, Syria and Libya," he added.
