Doha 2016 Summer Olympic Bid committee announce launch

The Doha 2016 Olympic bid committee has announced the launch of its bid to host the 2016 Summer Olympics and Paralympics Games. The said launch will take place in Doha in early September 2007. At the event the logo and key themes of the Doha 2016 Bid will also be unveiled.
Full details of the launch will be announced on an initial Doha 2016 website on August 20, 2007. Complete Doha 2016 website will be launched in October this year. according to a statement issued by Doha 2016 Olympic Games Bid Committee.
The chairman of the Doha 2016 Bid Committee, Hassan Ali Bin Ali said: "A huge amount of work is going on behind the scenes at the moment. We have extremely exciting plans for our bid and we believe that Doha 2016 will offer a unique opportunity for the International Olympic Committee to bring the games to a new region of the world. We look forward to sharing our plans with the population of Qatar and the Olympic Family in September."
Ali Bin Ali will be available to answer detailed questions concerning the Doha 2016 Bid after the formal launch event.
