According to the official Monterrey website the association’s support is a boost for the bid because of its more than 100,000 graduates worldwide that would promote a Monterrey 2016 Games. If the bid is successful the institute’s Monterrey campus would be the venue for several sports including athletics, swimming, and rhythmic gymnastics.
