SportBusiness ISEMS Awards Deadline Extended

There is still time for companies involved in planning and delivering sports events to enter for the inaugural SportBusiness ISEMS Awards, to be presented at Wembley Stadium during the International Sports Event Management and Security conference and exhibition 2007.
Organisers have responded to a rush of last-minute enquiries by agreeing to extend the deadline until Friday September 28.
The SportBusiness ISEMS Awards recognise best practice and outstanding achievement in nine areas of event management. Although significant numbers of entries have been received, the deadline extension will accommodate many others who have expressed an intention to enter.
The SportBusiness ISEMS Awards will be the centrepiece of the International Sports Event Management and Security conference and exhibition to be held at Wembley Stadium, London on October 31 and November 1.
Awards will be presented in nine different categories; Event ‘Look’, Ceremonies, Volunteer Programme, Media Services, Hospitality, Host Broadcast, Event Overlay / Facilities, Security and Event Marketing.
Nominations will be considered by a panel of qualified peers and experienced observers. Details of the award criteria and all the information necessary to make a nomination are available online at www.isems.com/awards.
ISEMS has been developed for, and will be attended by, representatives of national and international sports governing bodies, specialist event management companies, local authorities, stadium and facility owners and operators, media companies, sports marketing agencies, police and intelligence services and the companies who provide the technology, infrastructure and services which make events tick.
