Broadcasting agreements for Paralympic Games signed

BOCOG and Beijing Olympic Broadcasting Co. Ltd (BOB) signed the Beijing Paralympic Games Broadcasting Agreements with China Central Television (CCTV) and Beijing Television (BTV) on Tuesday.
According to the agreements, nearly 600 TV producers of CCTV and BTV will be responsible for the production of live broadcasting signals for 11 Paralympic sports and recorded signals for 12 Paralympic sports, including athletics, wheelchair fencing, boccia, wheelchair tennis and cycling.
This is the first time in Paralympic history that a Chinese team has undertaken the entire production of broadcasting signals.
Present at the signing ceremony were BOCOG Executive Vice-President Jiang Xiaoyu and BOB General Manager Manolo Romero.
The 13th Paralympic Games will be held in Beijing from 6 to 17 September 2008.
