Another Grand Slam event in the sport of racquetball, the Motorola World Racquetball Championship is held each September in Colorado Springs, CO (about 55 minutes from Denver).  Presented by Verizon Wireless, this event has quickly established itself as the season’s 1^st major event each year. Patterned after the highly successful US OPEN, this event will also feature all the top pro players in the world, over 600 amateur players, the made-for-TV portable racquetball court,  an industry trade show, and national prime time broadcast on The Tennis Channel.
