Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Work with a specific professional football stakeholder group/family (e.g. clubs, leagues or players): improving relations, organising events and performing research. Work on specific areas/projects of relevance to professional football in Europe.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Act as contact point and in-house expert on the stakeholder group/family in question – improving relations externally and providing feedback on the concerns and needs of the stakeholder group internally
• Organise events in relation to (or in conjunction with) the stakeholder group in question
• Perform research in relation to the abovementioned stakeholder in question
• Work on specific areas/projects of relevance to professional football in Europe.

EDUCATION:
• University degree as minimum
• Sports qualification an advantage

WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Either:
(i) a lawyer with football/sports experience
(ii) a trained economist/accountant with football/sports experience
or
(iii) significant general football/sports industry experience

BUSINESS KNOW-HOW & IT-SKILLS:
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• At least one of English and French fluent, with 1+ other European languages essential and 2+ additional languages highly advantageous
