| Description |
We are looking to appoint a Research Fellow to play a leading role in the development of the applied research activities in the Centre for the International Business of Sport (CIBS). Your role will involve working alongside and facilitating activities of Professor Simon Chadwick in accessing sources of research funding; generating commercial revenue; managing research and consultancy projects; disseminating research and consultancy outputs through appropriate channels; and generally supporting the applied research activities of CIBS.
Along with a PhD in a relevant management or social science discipline, you must also have proven demonstrable experience of working in research in the higher education section or closely related environment in the public, private or voluntary sector. We are looking for an individual with strong analytical skills; someone who is familiar with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You may be required to travel depending upon the nature of the applied research projects in which you are involved.
