The Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) has launched a range of toys, watches and electronic products based around the 16th Asian Games.
The 17 licensed products were unveiled to the public at the Guangzhou V-Space International Sports Mall
Fang Da'er, director of the GAGOC marketing department, said that GAGOC wanted to draw wider public attention to the forthcoming Asian Games by launching a series of newly design licensed products during the one-year countdown to the Games. The new range will help promote traditional Chinese culture.
As the Games approaches, GAGOC will push sales of the licensed products in Pearl River Delta and other popular tourist cities within China, and may even open shops in Hong Kong and Macau.
