IOC launches YOG medal design competition 20/11/2009

The International Olympic Committee is inviting members of the public to design the first ever medal for the Youth Olympic Games.
The winning medal design will be awarded at the inaugural YOG, to be held in Singapore from August 14 to 26, 2010.
The winning designer will attend the Games and will see the medals they have designed awarded to the athletes. The winner will also receive a gold medal replica.
Entries will be put up on the website (www.medaldesigncompetition.com) and the 10 best designs, as voted for by the public, will be put before an IOC jury to decide the overall winner.
The closing date for submissions is December 4
