The group behind the Tiger Woods golf course project in Dubai has said it will be completed as planned despite his decision to take an indefinite break from the sport.
The future of Tiger Woods Dubai, a 55 million square foot private residential golf community project which includes the Al Ruwaya clubhouse, golf academy, and a hotel, was being questioned after Woods admitted “infidelity” and hung up his clubs in a bid to save his marriage to Elin Nordegren.
Tiger Woods Dubai said in a statement: “We can confirm that we remain committed to the completion of the centrepiece Al Ruwaya Golf Course, and that progress continues on the first golf course designed by Tiger Woods.
“Tiger Woods Dubai does not comment on the personal lives of our valued partners.”
