British Horseracing Authority (BHA) chairman Paul Roy has called 2010 “the most important year for racing in my memory”.
Racing For Change, a new strategy for rebranding the sport, is due to unveil its initial plans today (Jan 4), while the next Levy deal is also on the horizon.
And Roy told The Times that racing must move on from its recent problems and focus on the future.
“I’m fed up with people telling me what a mess we are in,” he said. “What we are doing is building on very strong foundations.”
