Portsmouth’s share of the latest television money looks set to be used to pay its debts to other teams.
It is thought the Premier League will split Portsmouth’s £7m between Tottenham, Chelsea and Watford, all of whom are owed money from transfers.
Portsmouth’s players are due to receive their December wages today (Jan 5), the third time in four months they have been paid late.
