The Delhi Commonwealth Games has appointed former sports journalist Stefan Thies to head its media operations.
Thies, who was media director at last year’s World Athletics Championships in Berlin, will become director of press operations for the Delhi Games, which take place in October.
Thies will relocate to India and begin his new role next week (Jan 10).
