Daimler has won a contract to provide 460 Mercedes-Benz buses for use in this year’s World Cup in South Africa.
The German automotive giant signed the deal with Autopax, a subsidiary of the South African national railway PRASA.
In August last year, Daimler signed a similar agreement for 125 Mercedes-Benz shuttle busses to provide access to a high-speed train line being built for the World Cup.
