The ATP World Tour has appointed Kate Gordon as vice-president of corporate communications.
Gordon was most recently UK head of sports and sponsorship for Edelman public relations and has experience in-house as well as on the agency side.
She becomes the first female communications head at the ATP and will be based in the organisation’s London office.
ATP president and executive chairman Adam Helfant said: “Kate’s impressive track record in a wide variety of sports will help not only in expanding the reach and impact of tennis, but will add a broad perspective to the global operations of the Tour.”
