Team Origin, Sir Keith Mills’ British America’s Cup team, has signed Henri Lloyd as its official technical clothing partner for 2010.
The two will work together on Race for Change, a new platform to promote a collaboration between sport and the environment launched by Team Origin and the Carbon Trust last year.
Through the partnership, Henri Lloyd is looking to further develop its Blue Eco range, the showcase products in the brand’s mission to become a greener manufacturing company.
Paul Strzelecki, joint chief executive of Henri Lloyd, said: “We have made the first important step in the long journey to becoming a more environmentally friendly company, and look forward to working with Team Origin and the Carbon Trust to make a difference to the future of our precious environment.”
