Arsenal Football Club has appointed Angus Kinnear as its first marketing director.
Kinnear, who has been at the club for five years, was promoted from the role of head of marketing.
The club is also hiring four other senior executives – a retail director, a business development analyst, a head of global partnership development, and a head of marketing to replace Kinnear.
In August, Arsenal appointed experienced US sports marketer Tom Fox as its chief commercial officer.
Ivan Gazidis, chief executive at Arsenal, said: “This major restructuring of our commercial talent will enable us to make great strides in our worldwide commercial operation.
“This substantial investment, made possible even in such challenging economic times by our strong self-sustaining business model, will help us to drive our business forward and expand our global reach.
“We look forward to welcoming the new additions to our commercial team, who, under the guidance of Tom Fox, will be a huge asset to our overall operation.”
