Sun Life Financial is expected to announce next week that it has signed a naming rights deal with Dolphin Stadium in time for the Super Bowl, which takes place at the arena on February 7.
The venue, which is home to the Miami Dolphins as well as the Florida Marlins and the Miami Hurricanes, will be renamed the Sun Life Stadium under the terms of the agreement, which is thought to be worth about $7.5m a year.
The ground has also been known as Joe Robbie Stadium, Pro Player Park, Pro Player Stadium, Dolphins Stadium, Land Shark Stadium and Dolphin Stadium.
