The Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Pistons could team up to build a new sports arena in the downtown area of the city, reports have claimed.
Sources told the Detroit News that it was “possible – perhaps even likely” that the two could share a new purpose-built venue.
The paper says that both organisations need new homes, but that it is unlikely that either would be able to raise the money alone in the near future.
