Italian club Udinese has gone to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over fees it claims Portsmouth still owes for Sulley Muntari.
The midfielder joined Portsmouth from Udinese in the summer of 2007 before moving to Inter Milan, but Udinese says it has still not received 4m Euros from the South Coast club and has reported the matter to the CAS.
Struggling Portsmouth was hit by a transfer embargo by the Premier League over unpaid fees, though debts with UK clubs and French duo Lens and Rennes have since been settled.
But Udinese's appeal to the CAS suggests it has yet to reach a satisfactory agreement with Portsmouth.
The Premier League club is also facing a winding-up petition from HM Revenue & Customs next month.
