Tottenham Hotspur has teamed up with Perform to launch a new application for the iPhone featuring live audio commentary.
The ‘app’ will include a range of features such as live scores and match stats, match highlights and video interviews, news updates and live matchday minute-by-minute text updates.
Fans with a data connection will also be able to listen to the official live audio stream of all Spurs matches in what is believed to be a Premier League first.
The app has been developed for Apple’s iPhone and iTouch by digital specialists Perform, which also powers Spurs TV on tottenhamhotspur.com, and mobile application developers Bright AI.
It will cost £2.99 to download with an additional £2.39 a month subscription charge for fans who want to receive the live audio and video service.
New media manager at Tottenham Hotspur Adrian Yearwood said: “This is an exciting evolution in Spurs’ digital offering to our fans.
“We see the launch of our iPhone application as a further innovative way of providing our fans with the latest up-to-date content wherever they are and whenever they want it.”
