Uefa has handed the Brazilian broadcasting rights for Euro 2012 to Globo TV.
As part of the deal, 23 matches will be broadcast live on free-to-air channels, while all 31 matches will be shown live on pay-TV station Sport TV. Broadcasts of games will also be made available on mobile phones and the internet.
"Uefa is delighted to enter into a partnership with Globo TV, which is the leading broadcaster in Brazil," said David Taylor, chief executive of Uefa Events SA.
"Uefa, together with Globo TV, is looking forward to providing a unique viewing experience to football fans in Brazil by offering extensive coverage of the tournament."
